Volcano Tourism in Chile | Branding

This project has been published in the book “Fully Visualized. Branding Stories” by Gingko Press. The aim of this branding initiative is to highlight volcano tourism in Chile, specifically targeting a younger audience. The primary goal is to captivate their interest through an engaging and interactive approach.
The focal point of this endeavour is the creation of a original tool named the Volcano Passport. This passport, coupled with a map, transforms typical tourism into an immersive game-like experience. Similar to a quest in a game, tourists are given a mission to complete. The passport contains 137 stamps, each representing the 137 volcanoes in Chile. These stamps come in two categories: one for those who have visited the volcanoes and another for adventurous individuals who have actually climbed them.
In place of conventional photos that might spoil the surprise, charming and minimalistic illustrations have been employed to convey a cozy visual identity for this project.
