The Niton Alloy Analyzers help users such as metallurgists identify materials and their chemical make-up at the touch of the trigger. Both analyzers shown here house 9 PC boards, long life rechargeable batteries, a large color LCD screen, and a custom designed x-ray tube. The challenge was fitting everything in a clean, reasonably sized package.
