In the past weeks, i was actually going through some work issues with my friends and i am sorry for not in an good condition during the lesson, because having a continuous nightmare for 7 days really challenge my limit of patience. Yes, i was frankly in anxiety and impatient most of the time in the past week as i felt like there was going to happen something. Anyway, i knew i was out of topic again, and everything doing fine now.

 

In last Monday, i did remember to bring my DSLR but not my CF card reader(TT_TT)

I think this was part of the reason why i felt i could not catch up during the lesson.

I was a kind of person who needs everything to be in place before start working. How could i work efficiency without a CF reader? I am a perfectionist, and everything is not going to be perfect, so i lost the patience. (Nope, Definitely not a good habit, please don't learnt from me~~)

 

As the lesson started, we first learnt about :

 

and i took plenty of photos on my lovely kids(Am i sound old?////_/////) before letting them to took mine.

I always found her very cute and i believe those little boys would have crush on her.

She is those little cute boys' type, i swear!

I have seemed too many guys and i know what little boys like (haha *_* )

Basically i just increase the aperture, letting more light to enter the camera.

I know this is not a self-portrait photo but i like Sarah's eyes.

Those light shone on her brown eyes and you could see all these little glittering of her eyes.

It was very beautiful.

I feel the light is overly bright and there was no depth of view or contrast shown in the photo.

What a pity.

I did tell Sarah that she is quite good to be a model, and having a symmetrical face definitely was a gift for her.

I think if the light could be lower a little it would probably be better.

I have been working with some friends to have self-protrait, so i knew exactly which angle of me looks best.

Have to say, without makeup i looked terribly sick and bad.

Besides, a little over exposed.

 

This is Sarah and Hafizah doing light painting.I could see they were having fun and of course, i feel like trying too.

I personally feel fascinated for light painting as i did mention in previous posts about my admiration for light painting photographer Michael Bosanko.

He was an light painter and his photos definiitely would make you surprise.

(yeap i knew you might stare at me as if i was stupid.....Maybe i am= = )

so out of shame i came up a much more crazy version of a christmas tree.

It was a tree(Though i wasn't believing)

But it was a tree(You have to agree with me^_^)

 

I know calling myself a ghost sounds so scary.

But the effect was so cool.

All i have to do is to set a low shutter speed and take move within 10 seconds, and every three seconds i would take a move while my partner would cover the camera with a black paper .

 

This was freaking cool!

I did it without photoshop!

I showed it to my friends and they were so shocked that camera could achieve such effect.​

Before i start doing image transfer using laser printer, i have chosen a number of photos.

I changed all my photos into Duotone as i thought the outcome image would be much more obvious than full colour images, as in the contrast of the colours and the strength of ink being transfered.

Okay,now photos had been photoshopped and let's work it out!

Because i forgot to bring my CF reader so my images could not be tranfered to laptop and got printed through printer over the clear plastic sheet. Thus, i worked with Josilyn during the Experimental Process.

 

Firstly, we got photos photoshoped in Duotone, and printed using Inkjet Printer over a plastic sheet.(above)

Secondly, place the image over a clean A4 and using a roller to transfer the ink over it. And Done!

Another method of transfering images is using water.

 

Place the printed plastic sheet above the water, with the side with ink facing upwards.

Next, place the paper over the printed sheet which the ink had been smurged slightly.

See!

A water effect is produced on the paper.

 

Doesn't it sounds simple?
So let's see the outcome of my photos which i did them in another day.
 

 

I was quite happy that my first piece of image transfer using Inkjet printer looked quite good.

Let see how other pieces looked ////_/////

It was quite hipster kinda of image.

This is my hand!

I don't know why but i thought the ink had not been transferred to the paper very well.

And i didn't use a roller to transfer the ink, thus you could see those lines whereby i used my hands to transfer the ink.

 

This was quite a failed outcome but i decided to upload it as a lesson for my future experiments.

I should use a picture with more white space and less inked images .

This image had a same problem as the image above.

Seriously i shouldn't use such images for inkjet printing next time.
