Challenge
Zenith is a fictional backcountry lodge nestled in the stunning Coast Mountain Range of British Columbia. Zenith relies directly on the mountains for its success and in turn practices eco-friendly values within its operation. The challenge was to create a brand that showcased Zenith’s tribute to sustainability in the mountains, while maintaining the natural edge of its raw terrain.
Solution
In order to fuse the sustainable and edgy aspects of the brand, the art direction had to be bold and simple with a rustic nuance; much like the mountains. By avoiding the typical crafty aesthetic usually paired with eco-friendly brands, I aimed to maintain a feel that would resonate with the adventure-seeking target market.
