Concerned about the frequent power black outs in our country lately my artistic self was forced to look deeper. As I delved in I began realizing that perhaps it's a symbol, a sign of the darkness that has covered our nation in so many ways. From selfishness that breeds corruption, insecurity, lack of water in some areas, systems that don't work, it’s like our eyes have been covered by a dark cloud. Our faces have a huge mold of darkness.
That said, I believe there is still a lot of hope. This project is a reflection of what I hope to see in the future. Faces full of light and covered with strength and not darkness. I believe that day is coming. A revolution is coming where the Light shall rule over darkness. But it starts with me.
