The primary objective is designing a logo that is easy to recognize and easy to read when embossed into different types of leather. 

Based on the client's love for nature, especially an appreciation for woodpeckers and forest, I proceeded to sketch various leaves and feathers using bold lines and simplified shapes. After several iterations, the two concepts morphed into an ambiguous blend. This amalgam of characteristics did not dismay the client, who was delighted considering … leaf + feather = leather.
