YCN COMPETITION 2012 // GRAZE

Fashion magazine textures...
Cut out and collaged...
To make yummy fruits!
Box Solution

Grazers appreciate the subtleness of the graze box, especially in the working environment where personal mail may be frowned upon. To maintain the subtle quality of the box, the logo is replaced and the perforated outline of a picked ingredient is included. The inside of the box is where the colour and oomph happens, with the new collaged fruits highlighting the tastiness and excitement of the food, working together in delicious harmony.

Logo Solution

The logo is an adaptation of the current logo, making the letterforms look more like leaves to show the nature side of the brand whilst maintaining an online presence. It is a dynamic logo, with the colour changing according to the season.

Serviette and Vouchers

The serviette uses the dashed line showing where the fruits were before being picked. This ensures the serviette design is more interesting whilst making sure it isn't covered in ink, making it recyclable and nice to use! The vouchers that are used to get friends to sign up to graze boxes and to “turn a new leaf” are now part of the box itself rather than a separate booklet, increasing the brand's
environmentally friendly ethos. Playing on the term “turn over a new leaf”, the voucher is the shape of a leaf, which can be turned over for more information.

Fruits

Fruits used as ingredients in the graze products are used according to the season they are at their best quality.

Direct Mail

Like the vouchers, the direct mail is a leaf shape. It plays with the phrase of "see overleaf" meaning to turn over to the other side, a phrase commonly used in the work environment. The colours and fruits change with the seasons.
Website

This was not a requirement in the brief, but I felt the website could also do with some livening up to show the same excitement as the wonderful flavours in the snacks. The logo is white, with the same seasonal leaf and the texture from the fruits is used behind it.
