When designing this poster for the 2011 AIGA student conference I wanted to go with a timeless look, because AIGA has been around since 1914 and a poster that could be looked at 50 years from now and still be appreciated is what AIGA deserves. The choice of filigree was chosen after coming up with the tag line of “A Growth of Inspiration.” Archer was chosen as the font to emulate the elements in the poster.
