This brief was done for The Student Goldpack Competition 2015. The brief I chose to do was for Turkish Airlines Inflight Meal packaging. My concept was to create an inflight meal for Turkish Airlines invite passengers to experience a “Delightfully Different” In-flight meal that comprises of the best-quality selections and rich colours that reflect the Turkish cuisine and culture.
I have designed an interactive book-like packaging for the in-fight meal which invites passengers to engage with the information presented about Turkish culture. The vibrant colours amplify the richness of Turkish culture and cuisine. Motifs found on traditional Turkish tiles influence the pattern-designs. The book-like packaging provides a full experience and taste of the rich flavours of “delightfully different” foods one would experience on their Turkish ventures.
Target Market:
People who enjoy culturally different experiences, choosing to explore new destinations, as well as local frequent flyers who support their National carrier, Turkish Airlines.
For this competition, I was awarded a Runner Up Inflight Meal Packaging for the IPSA 2015 Student Goldpack Awards.
