"Stimulus Strips" - Graphic Design Festival Scotland

This mark was the origin of my submission to the GDFS Brief 2015, which concerned what we imagined the future may look like, with no restrictions.
Having become interested at the time in the rising design style known as 'polygonal', I experimented and eventually settled on this visual of a tree, originating from an image of a peaceful orchard.
The "Vitality" alternate design, which would allow users to improve their physical endurance capabilities for a limited time (great for those early morning rises).
The "Stimulus Strips" concept evolved from the feeling of stress I felt working on the two-day project, and inspired me to imagine a future where there was an immediate, effective remedy to the sensation.
I also developed alternatives to give the concept a little more grandiose, one of which was "Focus", which would allow users to be at the peak of their academic or creative capability.
Here, a visual representing an application of the strips, which would use electric pulses to influence the neurons in an individual's brain to determine specific emotions and traits.
