Lost
Oil on canvas, 2015.

As an Art Psychotherapist I have worked with many clients who express a difficulty in finding ways to productively fathom and own their, true feelings. They stress the sensation of feeling isolated, and being "lost" with such a dilemma. A collective sensation that I feel we have all felt at times. Being with another; contemplating and working through these individual thoughts can be difficult but equally immensely rewarding and insightful.

Below is an image that has lingered within me while providing such support. The planning, producing and production felt important for me to comprehend (holding this sensation, perspective, layering of paint; background, foreground...)

Sometimes words are not enough.
