Djakarta Tempo Doeloe is a tourism project focused on history of Jakarta. A project that attracts and inspires people to come and see the beauty of historical places instead of going to shopping malls. “Nostalgic” means having lived for a long time and it still exists now, which are the cultures, historical places, eateries and shopping centres that are still open for business until now, and also the beautiful abandoned places that are worth for explorers and photographers to visit.
This campaign aims to gain back the values of old places in Jakarta, attract more tourists so the government will take care of the places. The unique selling point is this travel tells the horror stories of the places, because there are people who like to challenge themselves to come to this kind of place. People may say that abandoned places are creepy and scary, but if you see it from different perspective you can see how beautiful they are.
