Illustration series: my love and fascination for space lately has inspired me to illustrate this astronaut series. It's magical, sweet and a little quirky. All illustrations are done in Adobe Illustrator.

Soft pastel colors have always had a soft spot in my heart and it works perfectly with my space series. Pastel, soft tones are dream-like and child-like which creates a calming and tranquil atmosphere. When I think about space I associate it with dreaming, and a sense of peace. I have used a color palette which consists of 'red' to match the 'youtube' icon. The colors are quite timeless and romantic, complimenting the love story between the astronauts.
Cute, quirky and personalised. The font suits my personality and reflects the type of person i am.
'let's go on a space adventure'
Commission for a birthday card. The client wanted a space inspired illustration which incorporated 'Youtube', as this is a special thing that they share together. I played with the birthday theme and emphasised the idea of 'celebration'. The Astronaut is screaming out of the megaphone and 'star confetti' is scattered all around.

An illustration I donated to Caritas. Caritas is a global network of humanitarian aid agencies working for a fairer world, inspired by the example of Christian faith and Catholic Social Teaching. This framed illustration will be apart of a silent auction that will be held at a luncheon to raise funds for Caritas' work with women.
