The assignment was to compile the articles into a short book with a compendium written by ourselves. The book must be cohesive and tell a story from beginning to end, while also allowing the viewer to distinguish each articles presence and tone.
The patterns and use of repetition represents the patterns of behavior learned by our parents, environment, and friends as written in The Social Animal. Society often does not realize how the pattern affects us, therefore the patterns sometimes distract the reader from fully understanding the imagery. The blurred repetition represents the thoughtless business and routine we fall into - by default. The stillness at the end provides the viewer there are two routes on our life journey - act by default or de-fault the arrival and move consciously.
This book is a compendium of articles provided by
The New York Times, The New Yorker, and The Atlantic.

Articles Used: Masters of Love by Emily Esfahani Smith,
Social Animal by David Brooks, and The 'Busy' Trap by Tim Kreider.
