Cardio Kickboxing with Jennifer is an unique health fitness business that incorporates mixed martial arts, boxing, cardio, stretching, and basic weightlifting techniques to help build community fitness. Patrons can expect to build a sense of community while exercising and be entertained through movements matched to current music.
In 2012, this projected aimed to begin developing the business' identity through its logo. Jennifer wanted classic kickboxing elements the public can recognize easily, yet distinguished from just another class. Jennifer also wanted to incorporate her business' slogan - "Commit to be fit."
The logo on the left is the original logo developed for the business. I used the basic fitness symbol doing a common kickboxing move used in Jennifer's business and infused it with her common characteristics along with her signature pink boxing gloves. She then asked for a secondary logo used to welcome a more masculine audience.
