For many packaging designs and advertising usages, things such as logos must be removed from the images. In others the client may decide they want different colors in the images, or perhaps a different shape than which the image exists. These are a few I have done for an Art Director client.
The batteries were shot in-house by the client on a regular table (provided images shown at top). They needed to be cleaned up and presented in a pre-approved perspective, hierarchal shape for the promotional usages. Clipping, toning, perspective, retouching and shadows were needed to match the pre-approved positioning. Sample usage of the images from end client shown below (not done by me).

Client-specified logos had to be removed from this motorcycle image for its usage.

Client-specified logos had to be removed from the STV image for its usage. One of the more challenging areas was the shirt front due to the polka dotted pattern.
For this cycle image, the client only needed a different color palette for the image.
For this project, the ATV had to be clipped out of its background and added to a background that matched an existing set of packaging designs so that the client could use it as a background on which to add the product details. Only a couple of logos had to be removed.
