It took me a while to distill the ideas I had and the constraints I faced, but I feel the experimenting paid off and it all began to click when I settled on a strict isometric non-perspective. I am really fond of this technique as it allows me to create modular elements that I can integrate with other pieces and also opens up the possibility of future collaborations with other artists.
I chose to use a slightly different angle to that of true isometric, mine is set at 23degrees rather than 25degrees. I just felt it looked that little bit better.
