為了喚起人們對它的回憶與認識，我們策畫了光影浪潮影展。
命名取自電影光和影的元素，結合1980年代起的電影新浪潮，以直述的方式命名。

In the history of Taiwan’s film,
there was an important period that recorded the characteristics of Taiwan’s real daily life and the ways of the world.
In order to recall memories and let people know that, we plan Chiarouscuro festival.
It named from both of light and shadow of the fundamental elements of the New-Wave movies in 1980s.
