Mockup Arena is a side project I've been working on for the better part of a year or so — the site finally launched in March of 2016. I wanted to provide high quality, user-friendly mockups and templates that allow people to professionally showcase their work. Many of us sports designers create mockups for our work, use them once, and then never touch them again. This site gives them a new life.
Without the subforum at Chris Creamer's Sports Logos Community, I would have never been drawn to conceptual art. One of the first things I laid my hands on over there was Fraser Davidson's (now ubiquitous) Pro Combat template .PSD. Having that capability to see my work come to life pushed me to dive deeper into design and the creative process. When I sat back and looked around, I noticed there wasn't one complete source of professional presentation templates for people who want to showcase their sports work. And that's where Mockup Arena comes in.
Mockup Arena is my way of giving back to the community that has given me so much — with the incredible assistance of several other designers, we've already built quite a library! Below are some samples we launched the site with.
