Having worked from wireframe to prototype to final design, the site maintained a consistent color palette, matching within the walls of the gym.  Content was organized in pyramid fashion, from least to most dynamic, beginning with contact information, to branding, to sign-up forms, rotating media, and finally three content columns that changed on a daily basis.

A scrolling instragram marquee grabbed users' attention to recently added pictures on social media.

A voluntary newsletter sign-up form was placed in the middle of the site, subdued in color and symmetry, but front and center enough so users were unlikely to miss it.

The three columns featured dynamic content from the different programs at the gym, rotating on a daily basis.  Feautured images added to each post were resized, cropped and bordered via custom CSS, allowing users to click and view the full-sized image.  Titles for each column were also coded in custom CSS to achieve a bold glow effect meant to draw attention to the top of the content.  Each column displayed a different blog query from the wordpress platform, with three different loops and independent pagination - not an easy task, but fully functional via AJAX without having to reload the page.
