Western Digital’s My Book Live is a personal cloud storage home network drive.

 

Designed and delivered wireframes, user flows and UX specifications for a web-based drive management application. Solved and mapped complex drive settings from creating and managing Users and Shares to managing and streaming content. I utilized modern web technologies to present content concisely through a procedural and guided approach. Worked with WD Product manager and Engineering team throughout UI design lifecycle. I also worked closely with visual design team to ensure design comps were consistent with wireframes.

 

Western Digital has subsequently utilized this UI paradigm across multiple products—WDTV Live Hub, WDTV Live and My Book Live Duo.
