Lyskultur is a membership organisation with the mission to stimulate knowledge and expertise within lighting and lighting design in Norway. The members are leading players from the lighting industry, such as lighting designers, consultants and suppliers.

The identity conveys artificial as well as natural light through the use of the warm yellow colour and the rounded shapes of the logo. It has a wide range of implementations such as technical publications, a magazine and an annual award show.
The technical publications are kept in a descriptive, reserved design, that matches a content meant for mostly engineers. The magazine is for both the public and members, and has a more commercial approach. But it still has a close relation to the technical publications in order to create a link to the organisations and fields of work. The design example of the magazine shows the first issue in the new design, and the issue is about natural light. The issue has three different cover versions, and creates renewed interest in the magazine, underlining the subject and gives the buyers an exclusive feeling of “receiving a special issue”.
The annual award organised by Lyskultur, Norsk Lyspris, celebrates exciting, innovative and well conducted lighting designs. The actual award and the materials used give an effective experience of the refractions of light.
