UI/UX is the digital application of human centered design. They both use the same application of a discoverability and feedback loop. Thanks to strong mentors, I always think through my design from this perspective and have found it to yield strong results.
 
The first observation or discovery with the book cover was in making the ebook cover legible as quickly as possible. In a passing glance one might read it as “40 Ideas: To Skyrocket your book” and a closer look will read the title as “40 Book Marketing Ideas: To Skyrocket your book”. Both messages work, and allow for a quick understanding as well as a more in-depth understanding upon further examination. Users usually decide the direction they are headed and start clicking within the first 5 seconds of landing on a page regardless of if they have consumed all the content on the page. With this design approach we can capture the glancing user by condensing the messaging into something they read in those key first seconds. 
 
Another observation was in directing the user back to Chadwick Cannon. The book can act as a jumping point for business and pull the user into working closer with the agency. To facilitate this the back cover has a call to action and hyperlink, guiding the reader/user back to the Chadwick Cannon website for their further book marketing needs.
 
Moving on to the Facebook posts. I have created two potential versions. I have created one that abides by Facebooks 20% text rule for use in promoted posts, and another with more style that is more text based that would not work with Facebook paid promoted content features.
