As a new research center at Harvard University, the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative (HHI) needed to quickly establish an authoritative web presence. My task was to develop a site that would serve diverse highly-educated users, embrace social media, and push HHI's expertise into the global arena — all while conforming to Harvard's strict brand standards. I wrote over 60 pages of original content, including SEO copy, and also drove the creative direction and IA. The site was created in under 90 days and launched in 2008.
