This 2013 experimental video was quite avant-gardist. Helped by employees from Renault's headquarters, near Versailles, we managed to plug a MakerBot 3D printer in their latest electric car, the Zoé. The idea was to fully print an object while driving around the city. The scenario we used was the one of an architect rushing to finish the mock up of his design before meeting his client. We also tried to imagine how the existing car features, like the SD card reader, could be used for the purpose. See the result in video :
