The Road, Child of God, and No Country for Old Men. Each written by American author and screenwriter Cormac McCarthy. These three books were chosen because of each, if not all of his books, having an underlying anti-western theme. This concept is based off of focusing on this anti-western theme while still bringing a spotlight to the main themes of each book, Isolation, good versus evil, and greed.
