L O W P O L Y S N O W L A N D S C A P E
A new Low Poly Landscape I created. I made an ice landscape a while back so I thought it would be cool to also make a landscape that has a lot of snow. So that's what I started with. I spent a lot of time on creating this landscape until I thought it was perfect, I hope you will like it.
P R O C E S S
I will discuss my process, and tell about the choices I made during the project.
I made this first render a long time ago, because I wanted to make something with snow. I really liked how the colours looked.
Later on I started working on the landscape, I wanted it to have all kinds of rocks and mountains covered with snow. And nice trees that looked kind of unreal.
Here I started experimenting with some mountains, tree's and rocks. I also chose to have a big effect from the sun on all the objects. So every object would have a orange glow on the right side and snow on the left side.
Created a better looking sky, and made some relief in the snow ground. And worked more on the mountains and trees.
After some experimenting I started working on some of the final mountains, with the snow on it.
Here I made the biggest mountain that is standing in the middle. I also added a small one, The composition is starting to get it's shape!
Changed some colours and expirmented with mist to give the scene more depth. Also started working on the clouds.
Experimented with some buildings, I maybe wanted to make a watch tower but in the end I didn't like it. I also made some ice rocks.
Added a lot more trees and put snow on them!

I wanted to have some kind of buildings in the landscape, So I made some sort of iglo hut with a wooden door. And placed them in the landscape.
Experimented with some colders colour and made a bunny! And added some wood next to the iglo.
Changed the colours again, added a lot of details like fallen trees and an iglo that is being built in the landscape.
Improved a lot of the clouds and mountains.

For the final render I added a really light filter on the image to give it a better look.
