Before I searched about collective conscious and collective unconscious Human are social animals, so I came out an idea about relationship. Presenting and sharing are good methods to maintain a good relationship.
I used the sign of square which is represented to gift. Then I also thought about establishing friendship is like building a house same as square, which is related to steady and stable accumulation and maintain. However, in fact, I wanted to create a sad story about the biggest monster who wants to maintain relationship, he gives everything to another monsters which he meets. These causes the biggest monster not only lasts whole things, but also for the benefit to everyone, they could not be intimate friends. This story leads me to connect with “The Happy Prince and Other Tales”. Human should keep compassion, but too believe that people sometimes could be deceived. It is reality that human need to keep sympathetic but also beware of betrayal.
Critical Refection: This is my first time to use screen print. It took me many times to organise and drew the different materials texture. It was quite hard but interesting. I like the result of different colour background, maybe next time I would like to try another colour background such as grey or yellow. However, I got a problem for screen print. It is because the pink layer which was too soft, and it was not obvious for the dot of background (pink). Perhaps next time, I need to make obvious dot otherwise it would disappear somehow.
