Anheuser-Busch MURAL

AB InBev - Mural project in Chelsea, NY
I'm very excited to share this project that I did in February.

Basically I was invited to work on murals inside Anheuser-Busch's new office in Chelsea, NYC
along with four other amazing artists,
Ricardo Gonzales, Timothy Goodman, 123klan and Ellen Rutt.

Each artist is paired up with a different floor to do a mural to represent different beer.
As a result, I get to do one for the Bud Light and about their branding at a lobby near the entrance.

I like doing a freestyle mural and winging it as it goes, however since this image has a lot more details and involves a complex composition, I decided to use a projector to do a quick pencil trace directly onto the wall.

Painting starts...
I'd like to use acrylics for indoor murals although it can be painful as it needs at least two coats
but it's definitely less toxic and easier to handle smaller area.
YAY! it's done.

Painting non-stop for three days, which I actually enjoy so much
It was more challenging than the first one as it's taller,
also pressure to meet the timeline as we needed to finish the murals before the moving day of the emplyees.
It's tough to work under pressure but also very thrilling and exciting!
Here's a video of our interviews and process
Thanks for looking, hope you like it!
