R&D Group KENNWERT - Visual Identity

About
KENNWERT is a research and develop group focusing on smart surfaces related to the construction industry. They strive to make products that are able to solve problems. KENNWERT is a collaboration between engineers, artists, architects, industrial designers, urban planners, physicists and chemists. They believe in the power of joined forces from different fields. The target group for KENNWERT are architects and engineers. 
 
Concrete is their main component when developing their products and they manage to exploid all of its positive characteristics while combining it with functionality and aesthetics. 
 
KENNWERT's first product, BlingCrete, is light reflecting concrete which can be used for several different construction purposes.
Two other products from KENNWERT is TouchCrete and DysCrete.

Pay off
It was important for me to emphasize that KENNWERT is not just making traditional concrete elements - it is not just a concrete wall - it is a light reflecting concrete wall. There is always more to their products and more to it became their pay off. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Logo - Colours - Typography
The logotype should reflect the many aspects in KENNWERT. They are combining knowledge from different fields and that brings another dimension to them as a brand and to their products. 
 
 
Stationary
Brand Campaign
The add's are based on the dilemmas the target group often face - the choices they have to make. Ex. Design > < budget. I have chosen words that normally is not associated with each other and put them in the same sentence - to show that at KENNWERT you do not have to choose one over the other.
 
The black and white contrast support the contrast between the words. The add's serve as a manifest for KENNWERT.

Product Campaign
The first product campaign is for BlingCrete. Instead of forcing pictures of already build constructions I chose to use close up images in order to let the target group use their imagnitaion and picturing BlingCrete used in their own constructions.
