In an emotional letter addressed to her birth country the Netherlands, Volkskrant columnist Nadia Ezzeroili accuses the country of racism and bigotry. She feels hurt and has trouble calling herself ‘Dutch’ and lately finds herself telling people she is ‘Moroccan’. She is suffering from an identity crisis and is seriously considering trading her Dutch nationality in for the Moroccan one.
