Lilian Marijnissen is a Dutch politician who is a member of the SP (Socialistic Party). At only 4 years of age she could already be seen with her father, former party leader Jan Marijnissen, on the campagne posters of 1989. Now, 28 years later, Lilian has taken the third place on the list of kandidates for the 2017 Dutch elections. We were asked to portray her for Volkskrant Magazine. For this shoot we worked with the color red and tomato ketchup, referring to the tomato that if part of the SP logo.
