AllCrossbows is a web based crossbows company located in Oregon, founded in 2015. I had the pleasure to work with the owners of this company to develop a logo for them. They wanted something that was simple, not very abstract, and comparable to other companies in the market. I had initially a lot of freedom, as the client wasn't sure of the direction initially, after hours of drafts we found the direction and ended up with this result. I presented it to the client in the gradient style, black, and white.

 

The silver was chosen as a good accent to the main color of forrest green. Silver can be seen as the tip of the arrows, or even another weapon such as a knife. I chose forrest green because it is true to the nature of the brand, no pun intended. Although initially a flat design, the client wanted a gradient look. This gradient is true to many other brands in the market, and the pitch to the text gives it that athletic look that outdoor brands represent. Many modern crossbows have high powered scopes, just like rifles. To show that AllCrossbows carries only the latest in technology I added the simple crosshairs to the logo. This created a focal point that adds another element for the client to stop and look at for just another second. The guys at AllCrossbows loved the final result, and that's what matters in the end!
