In close communication with the conference's Organising Committee I developed the visual identity for the MeCCSA PGN Conference 2015 that took place in Coventry.
I designed a series of logos and assets used in social media, printed material, event clothing and the conference's website.
I also designed & developed the website found at meccsapgn2015.co.uk.
The poster was inspired by the conference's subjects. Typography played a very important role throughout the material designed. The main typeface used for the logotype as well as the posters text is Aqua Grotesque.
The secondary typeface is OCR A, which can be recognised both by humans and machines. Since the subjects touch upon aspects of human - computer interactions, it was only fair to make the documents readable by everyone.
The conference programme packed a lot of exciting keynotes and discussions, happening across multiple venues simultaneously. In order to make the information clear I used the Open Sans typeface in various weights.
The programme borrows the poster's background, using the light version instead to increase readability and be more printer friendly.
All backgrounds have been hand-glitched using various methods, by appropriating the main aerial photograph.
