Website for APHE (Association for Photography in Higher Education). The redesign of their website gave main focus on the institutions - members with profiles, user contributed content and relevant events. The foundations of this design allocate equal real-estate for each member, while being adequate in depth to showcase their courses and student output. Their is a strong promotion of new memberships throughout the website, in order to get new institutions / courses but also encourage individual memberships such as academics, university staff, students and practitioners of the photographic community in the UK. The website aims to become an informational hub for all activities of the association's members. Read Less

Institutions
a symmetric grid was used to showcase all institutions - members of the association in alphabetical order. this way no hierarchy is imposed on any single institution. the association promotes all members equally, and this has been taken into account in the design process.
