Catalyst

Catalyst is the new brand name of a well established payroll software company who contacted me to create identities and brand literature for two new software products they've been busy developing and testing ahead of launching in 2016. Once the two identities originally discussed were finalised they asked if I'd be interested in rebranding their business - how could I possibly refuse?

Their suite of software solutions enable businesses small or large to improve efficiencies and spend more time doing what they set out to do in the first place: run and develop their business. Adding this efficiency to the payroll and human capital processes necessary to keep the wheels of business turning in any sector is the key to helping them develop their core business and for that reason I felt that the name Catalyst was fitting. They're the provider that enables efficient growth, the catalyst for operating efficiency.

The overall aesthetic is bold but not overbearing with the intention of asserting a sense of logic and reliability through its ties to chemistry. Those who are non-scientifically minded may perceive it as enigmatic, the arrangement of circles an abstract addition, but those in the know will make the link between the circles and representations of ellectron particles and the like. Although the particles themselves are arranged neatly the bonds between them are absent, a metaphor for the starting point of a relationship between any new client and the team at Catalyst.

Anyway, enough waffle - here are a few visuals!
