Live Life Unfiltered - #AsSheIs campaign identity
Through Live Life Unfiltered (www.livelifeunfiltered.co), Canadian twin-sisters Keisha and Teagan Simpson started a movement aimed at combating the all too familiar stories of mental health struggles, eating disorders, body image insecurities and the pressure to post perfect photos. Four years ago, they introduced the #AsSheIs Challenge, seeing thousands of women from over sixty countries sharing their stories online as a result.
For 2020, they wanted to give the campaign its very own brand to help it stand out and attract even more participants in an effort to take the campaign to the next level and beyond, which is where I came in. After a couple of video chats, the concepts and feedback back and forth had evolved into the handwritten brush script final version above. From there, a document to be sent to PRs (see below) and an overall visual identity was developed, incorporating images from the stories shared on social media throughout previous campaigns.
