I was hired by the Ozark Climbing Gym in Springdale, Arkansas to design a graphic for the 2nd Annual April Pulls-Day bouldering competition. I was given creative license to come up with whatever concept I wanted. As a member of the climbing and competitor of previous bouldering competitions at the gym I knew what concepts would work and the various branding channels the graphic would be applied to. 

 

The concept for this design was inspired by the skateboard art of Jim Phillips. As a teenager, I consumed much of his work and studied his style. This design was my attempt to emulate some of his style. Overall, the final design was accepted and utilized across social media channels, t-shirts and print posters.
