Telekentic warfare horror film 'The Mind's Eye' takes us back to 1990 rural New England. Following drifter Zack Connors vigilant fight against mad scientist - evil Dr. Slovak, battles, explosions, and levitating keep us all at the edge of our seat.

Taking us back in time to pre mobile phones and desolate northern United States, costume designer Amanda Simonelli, drew upon the rugged blue collar minimalism of the time and characters with simple clean seaming and muted color pallete. Reminicisent of the time, henley shirts and turn of the decade turtle necks donned characters to skullys deaming the nefarious nature of the encringing characters. All together, creating a timeless look with the intent to relate to various time periods of the late 1900s and early 2000s.
The real trick of the costume pieces were the technical aspects. The way the garments interacted with special effects make up and prosthetics, to rigging for stunts in the air and on the ground, to material selections and chemical treatments for pyrotechnics.
