Startup incubator, Blade, located on the waterfront of the Fort Point Channel in Boston, Massachusetts hosts entertainment events in the honor of the companies they work closely with. Former Kayak.com co-founder, Paul English, has designed the Blade space to be a working office that at a moments notice can be rolled away and the DJ comes on.
In January 2015, Blade showcased four of their current fashion related companies in a fashion show and dance party event called Fashion Up! The featured companies included Nineteenth Amendment, Bow & Drape, Fashion Project, and Ministry of Supply whom presented pieces from their current collections and featured designers from New York in an interactive fashion show. As well, pop-up showrooms took place during the opening reception. Following the fashion show, DJs changed sets and the fashion after party began.
Collaborating with the Blade Event Team, Amanda geared the runway show production design and pop-up showrooms.
In addition, lead model castings and produced the runway show.
