The McGaw YMCA Children's Center offers childcare for infants, toddler, and preschoolers, as well as after school care and summer day camps.
The task: Create compelling visual pieces for a campaign around the Children's Center's fall registration.
Projects for the Childrens Center are always exciting, because I get to experiment with colors (within our graphic standards) and go through hundreds of pictures of kids. They are very challenging at the same time, though, because while we want the collateral to look fun and exciting, we also want it to look professional to relay to potential parents that we are serious about childcare, education and our curriculum.
The solution: I combined a colorful background with diverse pictures, and added the most important cornerstones of our educational approach, so parents see that we offer fun for kids, but that the fun is based on well-thought through curriculums.
