Brillianteen - a McGaw YMCA student-produced musical - is coming to an end after 65 years. This beloved program will be missed by many in the community, therefore the final show is a revue of previous year's performances.
The task: Create a logo for the show and a visual theme that can be used for all collateral, e.g. ads, flyers, the program show book, etc.
This turned out to be more difficut than originally thought, since the program had been around for such a long time and every year there had been a logo that incorporated musical/performance related illustrations. Therefore it was not easy to come up with something original that had not been done before, especially sice we needed the final show to have an original and exciting look.
The solution: I designed a logo that looks like a show sign announcing the final performance.
