By studying the consumer market, innovative materials, new technologies and the life cycle of fans, we created new ceiling fan concepts. As the lead researcher for the 3 month research program, I developed and analyzed the information to support our new design concepts. By dividing the fan product cycle into fan creators, specifiers, and end users, we could determine what each segment was missing and their aesthetic desires.
