Caja de los Sueños (Box of Dreams) is an interactive installation about a giant cardboard box which has inside a spaceship that travels around a universe made with fantasy, psychedelic music and alien sounds. This spaceship was built with with pots, rockets made of cans and crayons, recycled bottles and jello worlds with characters took from the imagination of children.
This project was developed by Panoramika in partnership with the agency Resistencia for La Corporación Día de la Niñez (Chilhood Day Corporation) during April in 2014. With Resistencia we created a collaborative experience between parents and children in which they both could travel around a world of possibilities, made with elements close to those found at home, demonstrating that any object can come to life and be imagined as a hero, a monster, a car or a satellite that explodes in the middle of the outer space.
Panoramika took part in the development of this amazing box. The animated world was made by the graphic team leaded by Chamo and Manuel, his copilot. The sounds were made by AudioLab, while the electronic control was built by the interaction team: Bones, Fraco, Juan and me. The set design was in charge of Belen and Nata.
