Gilles Sensini works as an architect and town planner in Marseille. In order to present to its clients and collaborators the results of what the agency undertook throughout the year 2013-2014, we designed a book presenting its achievements.

Our guideline was to think of this project not as a classic promotional product, but rather as a true editorial design work, in order to visually erase all the codes which could be assimilated to a commercial idea. Thus, the model has a very elegant and contemporary design. The asymmetrical compositions allow us to bring the content to life in a surprising manner. The use of colored paper in the presentation of certain projects also makes it possible to break the uniformity of the book and to bring a touch of visual variety.

Gilles Sensini est architecte et urbaniste à Marseille. Afin de présenter à ses clients et collaborateurs le fruit du travail de l'agence au cours de l'année 2013-2014, nous avons pris en charge la conception d'un livre présentant ses réalisations.

Notre ligne directrice était de penser ce projet non pas comme un objet promotionnel classique, mais comme un véritable travail de design éditorial, afin d'effacer visuellement tous les codes pouvant être assimilés à ceux d'un document commercial. La maquette se veut ainsi très élégante et contemporaine. Les compositions asymétriques nous permettent de faire vivre le contenu de manière surprenante. De la même manière, l'utilisation de papier coloré dans la présentation de certains projets permet de briser l'uniformité du livre et d'y apporter une certaine variété visuelle.
