„Colivia” is Romanian for bird cage.

The brief was to brand a funky & experimental house in downtown Bucharest, made famous by its main resident, Daniel Vrăbioiu. In translation, „Vrăbioiu” means big sparrow, hence the „Colivia” name (it is actually Vrăbioiu's Colivia). Initially a private and cosy place open only for friends, Colivia opened up its massive gates when a small NGO moved in - Funky Citizens.  In 2015 the intimate place became known as a go-to place for its under the radar cultural & civic events. Daniel Daniel still lives in one room, while the rest of the house is used as a headquarters for Funky Citizens. The space is modular and flexibile, as it can be quickly turned into an ideal place for various types of events.

The essential information is present on the label - the strength and the type of fruit used to produce the booze.

home-made booze is regularly served, courtesy of Daniel
(no added sugar, just honey,
like the peasants used to do it back in the days).
