The nature of design is ever evolving. Each day there are new additions and surprises that put smiles on people’s faces. In this continuously changing scenario, the process of documentation becomes essential so that one can always refer back and enhance his/her perspective and knowledge.

 

The “Young Designers” (YD) publication serves as a catalogue of the important final graduation projects done by the students and documents the impact created by their designs in various sectors, thus creating a rich database of creative work in the field of design every year.

The publication was designed to be in harmony with the theme of the convocation. The separator page for each discipline was a fusion of photography and illustrated pattern symbolizing and amalgamating with the theme of the year's convocation - “Weaving Legacies of Change”.

Along with the YD, the “NID catalogue” was designed as a part of the Young Designers publication set.

It showcased an overview of NID's curriculum and objectives, its bachelor and master programmes along with the institute's various services. The publication was designed, keeping in mind that it would be a part of the Young Designers set and also as a stand-alone to be given to the guests and faculty members in the coming years.
