During my internship at Nike EMEA, I mainly worked on colors and materials for different accounts’ SMU like Foot-Lockers, Courir, JD etc.

 

Beside this, I did my own footwear-design project. I was really into the Nike Aquasock collection at this time, so I decided to use it as inspiration for this concept. The idea was to design a very simple shoe, but with a lot of new technologies likeFlywire and Lunar. 

The upper is made of a neoprene inside sock that you can see through an “all-over flywire" overlay. The toe-cap, the heel-counter, the eyelets and the edges are welded on top.

As it is on the picture, the shoe is made with only one piece of this all-over flywire material, which is welded on the medial side.

The sole is from the Nike Lunar II.
