In the winter of 2011, I enrolled in my first design class and the first assignment was to use Adobe InDesign to create an editorial layout for the article, "Lucky to be a Leftover". Since this was my first time using Adobe Indesign, it took me a while to figure out the most basic features such as importing an image.

I tried to echo the content of the article within the layout. The article focused on the enormous amount of leftovers people had after holiday cooking, so I made the images run, almost like a film reel/slideshow, across the pages, emphasizing the sheer amount of food that was leftover -- so much that it was never-ending.
