Above:
Robot design, modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, and animation by me. Composited into the background by me. Done using Autodesk Maya. The objective was to have a kitchen object (here, an egg timer) transform into a small robot.
Above: Various 2D assets drawn in Photoshop for a game concept with a candy and dessert theme. Includes wrapped candy, jaw breaker, peppermint, gumdrop, chocolate cake, flan, konpeito, bubblegum, and lollipop.
Below: My original character design, based on a bear, called BURRS, (jst a strange and silly way of pronouncing bears,) using various tools and shaders in Autodesek Maya.
Above: Objective was to use the toon shader.
Above: Objective was to use the toon shader and the fire shader together. The claws are fire.
Above: Objective was to use the toon and glass shaders together. The claws are glass.
Above: Objective was to use fur.
Above: Objective was to create and light a robot version.
Above: The base model. (The mouth is a projected texture, therefore not modeled on.)
Above: Objective was to create a self portrait in 3D, using Autodesk Maya for the modeling and lighting, and Photoshop for the texturing, without eyes or hair in order to focus on skin. (As this is a few years old, you will find it no longer looks like me, but it did at the time!)
Above: Objective was to create and light a campfire scene in Autodesk Maya and composite it onto a night sky background.
Below: Object was to design an original character and then sculpt and paint it using ZBrush. I chose to create a circus demon. We were given this assingment just before a school break, and I had gone to Disney World over break, which is where I came up with the concept design, using what was at the time, the old Toon Town section in the Magic Kingdom as my inspiration.
